You are Buckaroo Banzai! Hard-rockin' neurosurgeon, brilliant scientist, and all-around cool guy. Maybe you didn't have the cinematic success of some of the other guys here, but it's okay - you're a cult classic!

Oh hey, I have an interview on Wednesday. Thanks for the heads up.

I applied for both, though I knew I wasn't qualified for the management position, nor did I really want it (I'm not a manager) though the salary was prettier. The interview is for the union position. Any tips?

Strangely I got another call too from a job I applied for months ago, which is another decent position. I hope I get one, I hope I don't get both.

It'll be a standard behavioural interview - tell us about a time you x'd, tell us what you did to solve y. It'll be three managers, Probably Greg Elliot and Rick Defoe, and one other they can drag in. We're basically a microsoft shop with homebrew programing for a lot of our apps. Bone up on some SQL, read up on Oracle and Oracle portal. Other than that, it's pretty standard web development and writing tools to access the back end data on the oracle server.

Thanks!

Microsoft shop is good, that's what I've always done. Custom apps, also what I've always done. My SQL is strong, no problem there, but I haven't got a clue about Oracle. IIS and MS SQL 7 is usually what I've dealt with, and writing in ASP. I will do some reading on Oracle, thanks again.
